Bruce's Blog: Thanksgiving?

Ah, Thanksgiving. That silly human holiday where they gather to express gratitude over a feast that somehow involves a turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and something called stuffing. I’ve never understood Thanksgiving traditions, as cats aren’t typically invited to the dinners. Although I’ll never get to appreciate the fine food aspect of this holiday, I can still try my best to give thanks for what I’m grateful for.

I’m thankful for a warm human lap, the perfect temperature to snuggle into a ball and fall into a peaceful slumber. I’m thankful for that one ray of sunlight that always beams through the front door of the building, providing me with a bath of cozy heat. I’m thankful for my toy mice, being my steadfast companions while my real ones are busy working.

I’m thankful for too many things to list here. But I’m most thankful for my humans. They give me lots of love, and if they catch me in a good mood, I just might love them back.
