Bruce's Blog: Daily Routine of An Office Cat
Structure is extremely important to me. It makes people take me more seriously, even if I am just a cat. Listen up, kittizens, because I am about to tell you the daily routine of an office cat.
I start my day off at the top of my cat tower, facing the door and greeting the humans as they arrive for the day. After everyone is accounted for, I walk around and say hello. Unfortunately, they aren’t able to pet me too much because of all the work. That’s why I make my rounds, though; to encourage them. I mean, the faster the work is done, the more time they’ll have to pet me and give me belly rubs.
After I welcome everyone, it’s time for a nap. I decide where I want to lay down, and I don’t move for a few hours. A few of my favorite spots include: my cat tower, a shelf in the front office, and any office chair available. Especially if it’s warm.
By the time I wake up, it’s nearing the end of the day. Some humans have already left, and others are lingering by their desks, waiting to clock out. I make my way to the door, my face up against the glass, and I watch as the rest of the staff leaves.
Time to purr-ty!
