Bruce's Blog: “Me” Day
Sep 16, 2015
The Education Place reminds teachers and parents that kids should celebrate “Me” Day this month.
“Have each student put together a ‘me’ bag including favorite toys and other personal objects (sports item, trophy, doll, book, and so forth) that have special importance. Then have a ‘me’ presentation day in which students show and discuss the importance of the items with classmates.”
If you’re a cat, you know how silly all of this is. To us, every day is “Me Day”! Every minute is “Me Minute”! Every nano-second is “Me Nano”! (No, wait. That last one sounds like how a grandfather introduces himself to his grandchild.)
Anyway, if you have a youngster needing some “me” items, you might want to consider some of these:
And remember, you can give me a lovely gift any old day. Or minute. Or nano-sec.
